Grace & Inspiration was birthed during the challenging political climate of 2016. Considering the discord wrought via divisive rhetoric and unbridled hate, visionary William I. Brown sought to articulate a unifying perspective through creative musical expressions. G&I’s founder and Executive Director is an accomplished songwriter, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. Grace & Inspiration’s label is most noted for bridging the genre gap between R&B and Gospel, showcasing new talent within the local community and promoting spiritual healing through artistry. In February 2017, G&I hosted “Taking It Back!” featuring late legendary humorist and educator Dr. Dick Gregory at Historic Ritz Theatre of High Point, NC. The event highlighted singers, comics and hip hop artists alike while entertaining the likes of city councilman and state legislators.

About the Founder:

Brown’s versatile music ministry journey spans nearly two decades. Along the way, he has served as Worship Pastor and Music Director across denominations. As Worship Pastor for Cornerstone Church, he had the pleasure of sharing the stage with guests such as Hezekiah Walker, Wess Morgan, Clint Brown, Sheryl Brady and others.“Inspiring and educating others of the realities of obtainable hope and healing is the number one priority for Grace & Inspiration,” says the Director. “At our highest ideals, artistry should reflect the earnest fight for human goodness and decency.”

William believes ministry should exist beyond the four walls of the church. He has always had a heart for ministry and penned “Messiah” for World of Pentecost’s Easter drama of the same name. G&I Productions’, “And You Thought YOUR Family Was Crazy”, is an original stage play written by Ray Norman as inspired by original musical compositions by William Brown.

William, aka Wril’s (pronounced “real”) latest release “Say It Loud” , is a great indication of his focus, craft, and creative vision. Above all, his heart is to reach all communities with hope, faith, and love.
